About the Role
Remote Interpreter (Contractor) – USA
Location: United States (Except New York & California)
Employment Type: Independent Contractor
Work Mode: 100% Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI)
We are seeking experienced Remote Interpreters to provide professional over-the-phone interpretation services. This is a contractor position requiring a high level of linguistic proficiency, accuracy, and professionalism. If you have a strong background in interpretation and meet all legal work requirements in the U.S., we encourage you to apply.
Requirements
✔Minimum 2 years of professional interpreting experience (preferably Over-the-Phone Interpreting)
✔ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (SSN or EIN & Photo ID required)
✔ Residency in the U.S. is required (Applications from New York and California will not be considered)
✔ Strong proficiency in medical terminology (Language assessment includes medical terminology & role-play scenarios)
✔ Reliable internet connection, a quiet workspace, and a high-quality headset
Ressponsabilities
🔹 Provide accurate and professional over-the-phone interpretation between English and the target language
🔹 Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional interpreter ethics
🔹 Handle medical, legal, and business interpretation assignments
🔹 Participate in and pass a mandatory language assessment (details will be provided)
